Volunteers

Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors work with adult students either one-on-one or in a small group to teach basic reading, writing, and math skills and/or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).   Tutor responsibilities include:

  • Instruction.
  • Lesson planning.
  • Progress evaluation and testing.
  • Record keeping and administration.
  • Ongoing tutor training and development.
